The BC Center for Disease Control’s campaign to distribute take-home Naxolone kits is one of only 4 in Canada, but the positive results from the young program are encouraging. With the number of lives saved and overdoses reversed increasing each month, there’s no doubt the Naloxone take-home kit program needs expansion.
Not only does it not increase the amount of drugs used, but people who have been trained are more safety conscious and are at less risk of an overdose. -Dr.Jane Buxton
