We offer a 3-credit undergraduate prison health course at UBC. SPPH 481C: Prison Health welcomes students from a variety of disciplines to learn about current health issues within the Canadian correctional system.  Through readings, reflective writing, guest presentations and seminar-style class discussions, students will gain an understanding of the complexities of healthcare for people in prison and develop skills to apply inter-disciplinary approaches to prison health care.
