Dr. Bobby Cohen is a physician in practice in Manhattan.  Dr. Cohen worked on Rikers Island as the Director of the Montefiore Rikers Island Health Services, served as the Vice President for Medical Operations of the NYC Health and Hospitals Corporation, and as the Director of the AIDS Center at St. Vincent’s Hospital.  He has served as a Federal Court appointed monitor overseeing medical care for prisoners in Florida, Ohio, New York State, Michigan, and Connecticut.  He represents the American Public Health Association on the National Commission for Correctional Health Care.

James presented a poster entitled,”The Role of the Family Home in Homelessness and Housing Stability as Viewed by Incarcerated Women Engaged in Participatory Research“.
