1 Week Summer Intensive in Prison Health

The Johns Hopkins Berman Institute of Bioethics and the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, in collaboration with the International Committee of the Red Cross, are offering a one-week Health in Prisons course for public health, nursing, and medical professionals – June 15-19, 2015.

Topics:

  • Prison health systems and management structures;
  • Communicable disease control, substance abuse and mental health treatment;
  • Health impacts of solitary confinement;
  • Health need of needs of female, youth and aging prison populations.
