The Johns Hopkins Berman Institute of Bioethics and the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, in collaboration with the International Committee of the Red Cross, are offering a one-week Health in Prisons course for public health, nursing, and medical professionals – June 15-19, 2015.
Topics:
- Prison health systems and management structures;
- Communicable disease control, substance abuse and mental health treatment;
- Health impacts of solitary confinement;
- Health need of needs of female, youth and aging prison populations.
