The Arresting Hope Education Fund was established with Vancouver Foundation to empower women’s education and to foster opportunities for transformation and hope. The fund provides financial assistance to currently and previously incarcerated women and their children, to further their education. The education awards are administered by a selection committee at Nicola Valley Institute of Technology, British Columbia’s Aboriginal public post-secondary Institute. The selection committee members have many years of experience in community service, corrections and education, and donate their time and expertise to the selection committee processes.
